  3. With an additional standard ethernet interface card
  4. (i.e. NE2000) and a packet driver loaded, the statistical
  5. data from the Ethernet Box can be transferred via the
  6. Ethernet to the PC.

  8. This is the fastest way of data transfer from the box
  9. to the PC.

  11. You can use this packet driver interface for a local
  12. Ethernet Box (connected serial or parallel directly to
  13. the PC) or you can use it to receive data from a
  14. remote Ethernet Box standing far away in your network.
  15. That Box has to be in a mode sending the statistical
  16. information automatically (Statistic-Pulsar).

  18. These Statistic-Pulsars are working similiar to the standard
  19. Ethernet Box Pulsars but besides the values of the general
  20. network parameters load, error rate and collision rate a Statistic-
  21. Pulsars transmits detailed information about the activity of
  22. all network nodes at its segment.
